  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I had a Partagas Serie du Connaisseu No. 1, box-code XLB ABR 05. Very classic Partagas flavors that are really "in your face." I can't wait to experiment more with this stick and get some with age on them. I'm back babyyyy!!!

Me too, except there is a roof over the porch. Weather permitting, I'll probably have a Monty #2 or two, and my son will have a RyJ corona (he likes smaller sticks). I envy those of you with RyJ Churchills...
I envy you for having a son old enough to smoke. I think I would be in a little trouble if I let my two sons smoke. 5 & 9! :smokingco

One of my favorites ... with age they become an elegant smoke that requires some patience. Turns creamy in the second half. Always smoke them down to the nub.

Tonight I had a Montecristo #2 and a Highland Park 18.

I was actually hoping for an older code, Geoffrie. But I guess it's like playing the lottery sometimes :santa2:

Met up with a bunch of guys at a local hotel bar that is cigar friendly. Started off with an AF 858 SG that was gifted by seamus with a Riverhorse Ale and then a 5 Vegas Serie A which was pretty good. The beer was great since it was on the company.

I'm Screwed!!
I'm in Colorado right now and for some reason convinced myself a few days back when I packed that I wouldn't be able to smoke on Christmas. What was I thinking? My Dad would light up with me and my sisters in town with a boyfriend who smokes cigars too! Too bad I didn't bring any. It's in the 50s here and would totally be perfect to smoke outside on their patio. Oh well, I haven't actually been able to light up on a holiday in a few years now so what's one more! Too bad we couldnt' get that CO Herf going for when I was here. I'd at least be able to 2nd-hand smoke then!!!

Had to drive to the airport during rushour today so I smoked 1 1/2 cigars. The first, a RJ ** EL from a wonderful brother here and the 2nd, a 3 y/o Coro. The ** was surprisingly good! I hated the Hermosos released over the last 2 years but this little guy shocked me completely. The burn was horendous (sp?) but I'll chalk that up to the EL wrapper + an open car window blowing on one side. Prelight was spiced fruit, initial was minimal EL flavor with tobacco & mild fruit with another unknown sweetness wrapped up in the mix. The mid to finish built with more fruit and really pleased. Not too tannic and didnt seem to be too much cigar for just water.
The Coro was just what an early 03 Coro should be, minimal grass & more beans. It's a shame really as I am not much of a fan of the beanyness. I like the grassy barnyard Cohiba essence and really am lost on the cocoa and vanilla flavors. Oh well, I'm trying some 92 & possibly 93s next week hopefully so we'll see what I think of em than.
Merry Chrismakah

I smoked an '01 ERdM Lunch Club that JCGoldner sent for the November Lotto.

It was a little tight but most definitely a perfect morning smoke with a cup of joe.

I have a 30 minute ride to the mall with my Dad. Might go scrounge around the cooler for something. :headroll:

Nope. DIdn't bring a thing. I thought I would have no one to smoke with, nor the time. Don't know why I thought that though as I'll certainly have both. Oh well, perhaps it's a fuente holiday release for me. Maybe I can find a store soemwhere areound here.
