Love the DC Maximus's. I have had a handful of 5 to ten years aged ones of different violas and they have been great. I'm sure that recent production is great as well.

To my eyes, based upon the length and color of the wrapper, looks like a Las Mareas. The 2015 Paniolo with the blue footband was 5-5/8” with a CBL wrapper so would have been shorter and darker.

I'm 100% sure you are correct.

After thinking about it some more, I purchased these for the company humidor and would have gotten the Las Mareas at that time. The Paniolos were much rarer and harder to get.

These have about 5 years or so on them and are just a great smoke

Haven't had any recent production ones to compare to though, but I would imagine that they are excellent young too.
