This happened a couple times at my parents house when I was growing up. After the second time my dad and I filled the 3rd mailbox with concrete. We used a form so that there was still room for the mail to go in. Next time they came there was a small dent in the box and a baseball bat sitting under the box. Guessing he was a little sore.
