Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.
Congratulations! And that was a spectacular 1000th post btw![]()
The "midrib" has all the great flavor of the leaf it holds together, it helps give the cigar structure, and is also where the majority of the nicotine in tobacco comes from. This concludes my tobacco nerdery while I enjoy this Corto with major thanks to @Daven and zone out in the man caveMFLB.
Holy stems batman... The most stems I've seen or felt in a cigar before. Obviously this is not the norm for this cigar as this is a regular smoke for me.
I know they aren't officially "stems" but are the smaller stems within the leaf, but still.
You can almost see one at the foot sticking out.
In the end, it hasn't affected the taste of the cigar, so I don't really care
