Considering those are typically $400 a box, that is the deal of the century IMO. Got 2.5 boxes myself.

Yup. Last day in the office is the 20th. After that I’m on PTO till the end of the year.
But, apparently Corporate America needs me more than I need them so they offered and I accepted an independent contractor deal with them on Wednesday. Part-time, 20-ish hours per week but I make my own schedule, decide who I call / e-mail / visit...and best of all, don’t have to go into the office. Will have the same e-mail address and cell phone number so the book of customers I’m keeping (...a little over 30...) won’t see any difference other than me not being in the office. Will be taking my laptop, iPad and cell phone with me too. $250 per month expense account with any parking paid separately. The way I look at it, had I known they’d continue to take care of so many expenses and overpay me the way they’re gonna do as an independent, I shoulda retired last year.
