Glad I paid about $16 instead of the $49 msrp.
Damn good cigar, but a very similar profile as a handful of $8-$16 smokes I've had in the past few months.
This small batch cotm journey has made it very interesting to compare $ vs $$$$$.
Seems like there is only so much you can do with tobacco, and yet Davidoff would have you think differently.

Davidoff: "This rare wrapper was grown by the grandson of Fidel Castro's personal tobacco sommelier after he and his father were exiled in 1984. They escaped with the clothes on their back and a handful of seeds. Now you can savor this leaf in a way they could never imagine.

Our master blender selected a small pilon of only the most choice leaves from the virgin crop. They have been aged for 35 years under the loving care of a team of dedicated agriculturist that had only one passion, the perfect wrapper for the perfect cigar, for your perfect moment." Eh probably something they would say

6.5/10 one of the better CTs I’ve had lately but not a favorite IMG_0994.jpeg
6.2/10 decent stick has some nice citrus notes but pretty light and smooth.IMG_0991.jpeg
9.8/10 fantastic stick and to me blew the doors off any padrons I’ve smoked lately especially at $17 a stick. Complex but very large transitions throughout if that’s your cup of tea.
