  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

What ya think?
I didn’t have a great experience as it was pretty humid that night so I was constantly re-touching it. Strength-wise it was much milder than what I remembered. Probably too mild for my palate. Other than the Illusione HL Candela, I don’t think there’s a Candela I would really chase. However, the constant re-touching didn’t help so maybe just a bad night to smoke it. Appreciate the chance to spark another one up.

I oddly changed my opinion on those. Didn’t like them. Now I think I bought more. (I’m sure I did. Bought everything else lol)
I remember buying a box. I loved them at first, but they didn't seem to take well to the humidor. I like them enough for a five pack, but unfinished business and statement are definitely better in my opinion.

It definitely is interesting. Don't get me wrong, I do like the Bluebonnets, I just like everything else Rojas even more.

Ahh, well, see, I'm no longer an MSA fan. Used to be but somewhere in late 2014, I noticed a change in newer smokes with MSA. Couldn't put my finger on it but it tasted "dirtier" and a different kind of smokiness than the DE MUWATs, Abe Flores and even Nica Libre smokes that I liked. The only newer MSA blended cigars I liked were the CH Jericho Hill series and maybe a couple others. I'll still smoke the ones I have as well as any gifted but I don't purposely buy cigars blended with MSA. But like they said back in the '70s, different strokes for different folks.

I remember saying the same thing after I stopped smoking cigars for a while. When I started back the quality seemed to have walked off a cliff. But, I am accustomed to the flavor now. Plus, with the low broad leaf crop yields a couple of years ago, the Maduro market seems to have slid heavily towards SA tobacco.
