Some people overthink this hobby or pastime. Smoke what you like when you like. It sounds like you find a great way to get the dog some excercise and enjoy a nice cigar too!
I enjoyed it just as much as I would have in any other setting—maybe more, since it was the first time out of the house in almost a week (I'd been sick)—so, to my mind, it wasn't wasted.
I'd say that waste is in the eye of the beholder. I call shit 'waste', but a dung beetle calls it a very nice meal.hope you don't waste the other 11 that way.........
