This evening I roasted:

Method: FreshRoast Plus8
Two batches of Costa Rican Tarrazu (1 Full City, 1 Full City plus)
Two batches of Mauna Loa Makai (1 Full City, 1 Full City plus)

Method: HG/DB
One batch (1 cup green) of Costa Rican Tarrazu (Full City plus)

Judging by the aroma of the beans the Mauna Loa Makai is going to be heavenly!!!

This will be my first for both of these beans so I'm trying different roast levels to see where I prefer them, hence the Full City and Full City plus roasts of each. My tastes have mostly run to the darker roasts but I'm trying a little lighter to try and pick up more of the origin flavors.

Who's Nate?
LOL, sorry, can't reveal sources on this forum.

(insert razz emoticon)

Not only can I not spell mates, I can't even post a new thread properly, it seems. Crazy times here right now, I'll be better tomorrow.

Ethiopian Harar - Horse
Ethiopian Yergacheffe
Cuban Caracolillo
Australian Mountain Top
Ethiopian Harar/Fair Trade (SM)

This was my first roast of all but the Cuban so I did my usual lighter and darker roast of each to see which I prefer for next time around. It's amazing what a difference varying the degree of roast can make.
