Traded for a .17HMR rimfire

Just pulled off a trade for a Marlin model 917VT. It's chambered for the .17hmr rounds. The riffle is in new condition. I'll most likely just be shooting paper targets with it. But who knows, maybe I'll get a chance to go varmit hunting. Now I just need to figure out what kind of optics I want to put on it. I've been looking at Mueller scopes. I hear that they are a good quality scope for the $$.
