Didn't see a medical portion of the forum and I figured I would spare you the stitches photo. I was cutting some vegetables today and the knife got in the way of my finger. 2 hours at the ER and some stitches later the doc said I was lucky it didn't go any deeper. Oh yeah I also got a little of the thumb, but not as bad. Time for a smoke.

I did the same with a 6500 watt generator back in 2006. Almost lost my rt ring finger 13 stitches across and a good deal of tendon damage. Now its arthritic and gets numb when its cold.....stupid finger.
Share the pain meds.
Tape an aspirin to it, works every time! I hate it when my knife gets in the way of my fingers.
