So looking to get listening to my old vinyl. My old turntable seems to have bitten the dust, probably from sitting too long. The old receiver is still working and just re-coned my old Cerwin Vega's though so looking to pick up a turntable. I was thinking about getting an old tt but worried about the same thing i.e. functions not working due to age. Think I should seek a "vintage" model or go with a newer one? Don't' want to shell out $$ just because something is "vintage". G1

I wouldn't spend over $100 on a new turn table unless you are looking to do some DJ'ing with it.

You need two turntables and a microphone.

and a good drum break.
LoL, that's a great Beck song, personally I like this one better, plus it's a badass video

I'd go with something new.

You should be able to pick up a decent one for $100 or less PLUS it will be a lot easier to connect to your existing system.
