BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

still under waranty???? If not id buy a new one and put the old pne back in the box and return it. Ethical maybe not, but neither is microsoft not fixing the issues it has with its system. Just my take.
Yep...return for cash with receipt at wall mart and target...

I still have my original relase PS2 and it works fine. Never had a problem with the xbox360 either, but I just hear of so many people that do. knock on wood!
Mine is in its second year. Microsoft introduced a 3 year warranty just for RRoD issues last year. Thank god! It's going to be replaced for free, but it'll take 4 weeks. I would go to Best Buy and buy one, then return the old one, but the serial numbers wouldn't match on the box, and then I'd be up shit creek. Also, the console has ID'd the downloaded material I have on the hard drive. If I bought a different XBOX and put my hard drive in it, it becomes a hassle everytime I want to play something downloaded.

Hang on to that OG PS2...those are WAAAAYYYY better than the new thin line PS2...The new ones are junk...IMO
