Sorry bout your friend losing his job. Never watched the show, I think Sheen is a pompus :ahole: so I never watched the show.
Just start shooting a reality show...Follow the assh*** around with some cameras.

I'll be the first to admit I don't know all the details, but it seems to me that they pulled the show because they feared a negative public reaction; that they feared that people were going to stop watching CBS if they continued to show it.
I mean, he's an ass with a substance abuse problem... so what? That statement describes half of Hollywood. No reason to pull a popular show. That's like cutting off your face to spite your nose.
Not to broken up about the show, but all the people, especially your buddy, losing their job is the worst. Sad to hear.
That show was garbage. I hate sitcoms really.

Michael, I am sorry to hear about your friend and others like him. All the other actors will find work. They are all rich and can wait. People who make that show HAPPEN make a sliver of what the "talent" (used loosely in Charlie's case) makes. I hope your friend and everybody else lands on their feet.
The problem with addicts is that moments of clarity come from owning their suffering, even for a moment. This usually happens from losing ability to sustain employment, an important relationship, or other things important to said person. Charlie is beyond rich, seems to have a sex-addiction problem, and an inability to have anything matter to him. In a way, he's beyond *F*ed due to his wealth and access to drugs and beautiful women. Ironic, don't you think? Every time a relationship goes awry, he avoids pain by running to porn stars, real estate agents, and/or drugs. You can't feel badly about something you can't lose or isn't important to you.

the show was funny, and i enjoyed watching it. personally, i dont give a rats ass if Sheen is a drunk or not. The show was nothing more than one half hour of laughs. Who gives a shit what Sheen does in his personal life. He wasn't harming me at all. why does sheens personal life mean anthing to anybody who does not know him personally? I just dont get why people care about people who are on TV
I don't care if Sheen snorts coke with porn stars. I do care that he's got a long history of beating women, and that he's got twin toddler boys who are in need of a real father. Sheen needs a serious ass-kicking.
I don't know how this show had such good ratings, it was one of the least funny shows I've ever seen.
Never thought the show was that good. Never understood how charlie sheen keeps getting work, he either is going to get straight or be another tragic hollywood story.
