Unbanded Tatuaje Verocu #1 & #2

Hopefully this isn't a dumb question, but I am getting major Tat fever thanks to AngryBill's and others comments and am wanting to try the Verocu E & W.

Newhavana has unbanded Verocu #1 and #2 for sale and I am wondering how these differ from the original West and East releases? It appears these are the same smokes, yes? :scratchhe I like the labels but if they are the same, why not?

They're the same, they're just packed in foil with no bands. The whole story is in the new havana blog. I think they ran out of bands or something.

Yeah, pretty much Pete only wanted to make an exact number of bands, maybe 50,000 or something, but they made more sticks than that. They used up a portion of the bands on promo sticks and stuff like that, but then they had extra boxes left over. So some of the sticks are foil-packed and unbanded. Those would be a cool collector's item if I had the cash to spare!
