  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Went to a DE event yesterday and got meet JD for the first time. Didn't get to bs with him as much as i would have liked, but look forward to the next time.

1st third = good

2nd third = better

3rd third = not as good

Cigar produced tons of smoke throughout and one relight was needed in the last third. Ill be getting some more of these to rest.

I'll be smoking this in the near future. Thanks JD!

JD also hooked me up with a couple hats. Thanks brother! Was great meeting you.

Where is the review? No comment on flavors or anything other than "good, better, not as good" ?

Hello Fellas.

The Undercrowns are hitting nice right now, but definitely need a two week to 30 day period in dry box. The rains were crazy during shipping times of first two rounds and they get even better with just a bit less humidity.

Thanks for the feedback.

Good to know Bill! I am still waiting to get my order in, been back ordered for a couple weeks. And, since JD says to let them sit a while, that's probably a good thing to do.

Cool! Can't wait to try them. And can't wait for those FFPs! Gonna grab a box of those to put down for sure. The OR Dirty Rats are really coming into their own now, imvho.

JD,

I had the belicoso yesterday and it was wonderful. Not sure when it shipped to my B&M, but it was spot on. Got and enjoyed that floral aroma others have mentioned. Great job with these; I will be buying more.

I had one as well and it wasn't to wet at all. I let it sit a few days in my humi though prior to smoking (after shipping to me) so possibly after sitting at the B/M for however long, shipping and then a couple days in my 65% it was perfect.

I've talked my B/M into ordering these into his store.

I've had three Undercrown toro's and all three match your review exactly.

Good info - I'll leave my Undercrown at 62-63RH or so for at least a few weeks.

JD - I love, love, love the T52. I really hope these become easier to find in all vitolas. So far, I've had the Flying Pig, Robusto, and Toro.

i love that the guy who makes the smoke responded to the review! jd, you rock, sir!

and +1 to this, and the review. had one yesterday. did need relighting before the band, and the rich flavors got pushed under this bright acrid ammonial quality. they are coming out wet, and are still dead sexy! would love to sit on a box and revisit on a year. until i can FIND and AFFORD a full box, i am sitting on my last couple few until the new year rolls.

and thanks for the review!
