  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

JavaJunkie,

30 days Dry Box, thats all they need to be hitting like little, sexy flavor bombs. Just the right touch of spice and earth, but you are 100% right that they need to shed that excess humidity. Sorry that they need the dry box, but the humidity in Nica during the first shipment was insane. Last two shipments into the US were 100%, no dry box needed.

Best,
JD

Just ordered a 10er of the torpedos and am very curious to see what's up. I will let them sit a while though before doing anything.

In just a little over 3 weeks, the UC GTs I got have really settled down. Smoking one now and it is WAY better than rott (which was still pretty good).
Great job on these JD!

Had my first undercrown, last night, while sitting on the Balcony freezing, but enjoying the DC skyline, and all I can say is WOW. I had a robsuto, and as others have said:
1st third = good
2nd third = better
3rd third = not better, but certainly no worse.
I will definitely get some more off these.

So, since I am not great with reviews, and identifying flavors etc. What I will say is that this was smooth, with just the right amount of spice, and I would say creamy (some one correct me if you think otherwise). Beautiful smoke, and a great aroma, the GF even mentioned that she liked the smell of this one...

As to RH, I had mine in the Humi at 65% since I got it about a month ago, and it smoked great.

I gota box each of belis and dobles when UC shipped. I could not wait 30 days to dry them out. I found te flavors to differ masively between the two vitolas. Yesterday I had a UC robusto properly rested and dryboxed along the lines of what JD reco'd. MAN, what a world of difference! Might hafta get a box of robustos next!
