Well, we stomped a mudhole on the Rice Owls. It's a balmy 50 out tonight. Not sure how much longer I'm gonna be able to smoke outside. Next Saturday, we're gonna see lows around 30.

This Epi #1 has some real pepper to it. Spicier than the others. Lit well, draws well and is burning nicely.

I think that this weeks was better than last weeks. to me, they've all seemed a little "rough". They remind me of last year's smokes, where, by the end of the year, they were just incredible.

I haven't tried mine, yet. but I will tomorrow, I'm still pissed that my car got broken into last night. luckily, I took my 5 count cigar daddy with my victory cigar and my cigar poker inside with me. the bastard took about 15 habanos from my 24 ct cigar caddy. some of which were part of scott's prize (which ones did you end up taking with you, btw?).

those people are fucked up. and by those people I mean the homeless bums that hang around that square near the austin public library on guadalupe. they stole my owner's manual which had my insurance card, the cup holder that sits inside my center console, my bluetooth earpiece, my sunglasses and a fuckin' wire coat hanger (what the fuck?!?). they left my change, my garage door opener and my ipod mini behind.

oh, and I just remember they took my locker room rosebowl hat. that pisses me off the most. I check the co-op and they don't even sell them anymore.

so if you see a homeless guy in austin smoking some habanos, wearing a khaki rosebowl championship hat and styling some ray-ban's, call me so I can gut his ass.

that sux. don't worry about my sticks. I smoked the PSD4 with you. The only ones I took were the Monte #2 and the H. Upmann Lonsdale. I wish I'd have brought a bigger box so I would have gotten more of them. My car was broken into once in Austin, but it was a vietnamese physics major at U.T. Go figure.

you didn't take the sir winstons? they are badass.

now I'm glad I actually forgot to take my lighter and cutter up there. they would have ended up in a homeless dude's backpack.

jeff -- when are you going to a game? we'll go hunting together.

and what happened to michael chen? weren't you going to the game?

yo, I was there. section 32. (last 3 games I've drawn or gotten tickets for have been in this section... )

left at the end of the 3rd quarter to meet up some friends downtown.

that epi was tasting real good... until I watched the first few minutes of the USC game. holy sh*t. 8 plays, 281 yards of offense and only 1:32 of TOP in the first quarter.

btw, sorry to hear about the breaking into of your car. that's fucked up. and that laundry list of what they took... WTF?!

It doesn't sound like a bum who broke in. Just some assclown who wanted to piss you off. Who the hell takes an owner's manual? Seriously... if it were a bum, wtf would he do with it? Wipe his ass?

since the owner's manual came in a nice leather case my friends and I think the bum thought it was an address book or a murse (man purse, from seinfeld I think) with maybe some cash inside.

they took the cigars, but left the cigar caddy. perhaps they thought it was too bulky and left it behind.

if someone wanted to fuck with me they would have taken my garage door opener and my access card to the office.

perhaps... I was just thinking about the time a friend of mine had his apartment broken into a few years ago.

they jammed his lock and came in the front door... and what did they take?

some dvds. not all the dvds, just select titles.
the mouse and keyboard to his computer.
ipod, but not the earphones.
power cord to his printer, scanner, and cordless phone.
and 3 empty bottles of grey goose.

there's no sense in this stuff...

I hate to hear that about your car. That is really fucked up and if you hear about someone being beat up for no apparent reason it was me. The next person wearing that hat that looks homeless may have a beat down coming. I cannot stand a thief!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought that this one was much smoother too and they seem like they are getting better week to week. With an off week, they should be even better on Oct. 1.

I'm getting more pissed by the second. I win a great contest and pull in a nice haul of smokes. then I just think, "don't have alot of room in my otterbox...I'll see Jorge some other time and get the rest. He's got all of this storage, so I'll just take one or 2 or these, just in case." then, the break-in, leaving me with 3 out of about 7 or 8 great sticks.

I AM glad that they didn't fuck with your stereo, or take even more smokes. Did they bust your window or what?

Also, how come you drove to the game? I thought you weren't. Did you park there since you had given me that parking pass for the garage? If so, that sucks even worse.

I'll give you more cigars scott. I'm just pissed that some bum got 'em.

he pushed the passenger rear window down. how he did it without breaking it is beyond me. he just have popped something as the rubber seal on that window was pushed in as if he had jammed something in there. he also must have had some skinny ass arms, the space he used to reach inside and pop the lock was small.

I didn't drive to the game, we left the cars parked at nick's house and rode with will gray. the break-in happened two blocks from nathan's, where I spent the night. it's hard to find parking near his house because all the street spots are taken by people who go to lil' woodrow's and the star bar.

nah. how did that work for you? and what did you do after the game? we stuck around the alumni center until the crowds died down some. then we got dropped off at nick's and drove to billy's burger. ordered some pitchers, ate some grub and watched usc lay it to arkie.
