What do you do when tropical weather moves into town during a pandemic? You go to the Sazerac House. The museum opened just before the virus got established and had to reclose. They are reopening now with mask, gloves and limited sized tours. The other visitors scheduled for our time slot didn't show up so Kirstin gave us a personal tour of the Museum.

Most of my pictures didn't do the museum justice but just incase you wanted the recipe for a Sazerac Cocktail

They sell a selection of newly released rums, Herbsaint, Sazerac Rye, a broad selection of bitters and the gift shop is full of neat glassware and gifts.

The tour is free and there are limited tastings but you'll have to find a bar if you want to sit and drink a cocktail.

Sazerac runs their management team on the upper floor of this building and unfortunately they are controlled by the same allocation requirements as any other liquor shop in the state so no luck finding any of the BT stuff,
