What sayest you gents about these? SEP 01 box code. How about SEP 04 Famosos? I have never smoked a VR. All comments welcome.

Whew. Two of my favorites. You won't be disappointed in getting both, and the Famosos are a love of mine, but if only one is in the mix, get the Familiares, since 04 Famosos are pretty easy to find.

I have to agree with everyone here...any VR...anytime! I happen to like the Famosos over the familiares and the DA's over all.

To break from the mold, I think until these smokes become vintage, the classicos will be hte best of the bunch.

Two good cigars similiar in profile. Both are great and pretty easy to find at a good price at the present time. Both have awesome aging potential !

There is also a box of ABR 03 SLR Series A and my funds are limited. I have not tried the SLR line, either. What sayest the majority: VR or SLR?? Thanks, guys. :glassesgr

SLR has more darker flavors but not so spicy, VR are more spicy. Can't go wrong with either. If I remember correctly SLR are much more limited release than VR.
