Jfire
BoM 9/9' 9/11' 8/12'
Prelight
Molasses, spice on lips and barnyard off the wrapper.
Perfect draws on both cigars.
Start time 8:15
1st inch:
Harmony of flavors.
Molasses, spice, nuts and semi sweet milk chocolate. Very balanced cigar with tons of smoke.
Wb: There's pepper and spice but no punch. Just note after note of flavors.
Jfire: After the retrohale tons of milky sweetness carrying well thru to the next puff. It presents you with all the flavors at once.
1st 3rd:
Molasses and caramel intertwine. Loads of smoke. Burn and draw are still perfect.
Wb: Slight tea note added to the above.
Jfire: Thru the nose tons of dank earth and sweet caramel
2nd third:
Jfire: Such a sweetness thru the retrohale. Room aroma right now is where's it at. Coffee note on the back half
Wb: Body picking up. Leather, molasses, nuts (cashew) pepper/spice. Complexity doesn't overwhelm because it's balanced and harmonious.
3rd:
Wb: Damn complex cigar! Im getting some honey and tea mixed in. Body has backed off. But flavors are coming on even stronger.
Jfire: I'm in love with this retrohale. Tons of flavors but not making me pay for it while I do it.
Burn, ash and smoke production 10/10
Last inch:
Leather, leather and more leather. Not liga oily but just right. Salt and cracked peppercorn all over the tongue. Coffee bean as well. Room aroma is fantastic.
Wb: Not many cigars u can get such good clean flavors this far down into the cigar.
Final notes: Leather, nuts, coffee, tea, honey, milk chocolate and molasses. All coming and going thru out the smoke. Never bitter or harsh. Great burn down to the nub. A great special day cigar we would both recommend. Worth even the 20 plus dollar price tag.
End time: 10:10
Editors note:
We smoke the nubs till 10:30......... And there was just tons of milk chocolate room aroma with it......
