  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Alright so the wife and I have decided to get new TVs for the living room and bedroom. Nothing too fancy just a couple of 32" LCDs. The one for our bedroom is going to go on the wall and choosing a wall mount has been the most pain in the a$$ part of this whole process. There seems to be twice as many mounts as there are TVs :angeryell. We don't need anything fancy, it just needs to hold the freakin' TV on the wall. That's it. Any suggestions on a mount that'll cost less than $50 would be much appreciated!

Bought 2 of these and several friends have as well. Find your studs, drill, bolt, hang.... done

They also have tilt and articulating mounts there, but you said simple and cheap

Got mine at Costco. I think it was about $80. I little more than you wanted to spend but it does swivel and tilt. If you mount the tv in a corner on a 45, you will want the swivel and tilt. Also that enables you to get it up out of the way and still have a nice viewing angle in bed.

Just my .02 cents. Hope this helps.
