Holy crap - in the first two pictures, I actually thought the stem was brown. That was heavily oxidized. How long did it take you to clean that one up?

Bwahahaha! I know we have had this talk regarding the wife, thought she might be warming up to the idea. I do find it odd as the pipe usually has a much more pleasant aroma than cigars and other than buying lots of pipes that you "need" it is a cheaper way to enjoy the leaf. If things change please know I will be the first person to violently kick you down the pipe slope!!
