Watch ?

So I’ve never been a watch guy, but a guy I buddied up with at the campground & he gave me this watch. He had a box full. He said that his ex used to buy him dive watches all the time. He had a box full. It’s a long story but he said his new girl wanted him to get rid of them. Anyway he gave me this one. I did a quick web search & found that it’s MSRP was around $900 but also found it for sale from the manufacturer company for around $100. Anyone have any details or thoughts?

You can’t beat free. Invicta is no high end brand and have been known to have quality issues, but they can make a fine beater watch. It’s something you’d trash if it breaks and not bother having serviced, unless there is sentimental value. No one in their right mind would pay $900 for one, or even $200. There are much better watches out there at that price point IMO.

Yea this isn’t something I would buy myself for any price. I’m not a fan of gold & this thing is heavy as hell. Back when I wore a watch it was G-Shock or Luminox, of which I managed to break & loose both, so I just quit wearing um.

Decent watch for free. I wouldn't "dive" with it from what I've read. Their water resistance doesn't really work.

I have a few Invicta's I have and still wear from time to time. All I can do is sit back and laugh at what you guys posted about them because it's true. Their service and quality has gone to shit and prices are astronomical. So I'm sticking with what I have and have pretty much moved on from the rest of their collections unless something really wowed me.
