Hey guys, I'm looking at starting up a website for the first time and I have no idea where to start. I was thinking about securing the domain name on intuit or godaddy, and that's all I have so far... I am not sure where to go for web hosting, if some web hosts offer some kind of basic designs, etc. I suppose I'm looking for a web host that would sort of do what vistaprint does for business cards. Anyway, thanks in advance for the insight.

Godaddy will be perfect for a start up type of deal, very entry level/user friendly. You can get domain and hosting easy and cheap. If you start getting heavy traffic or needing a lot of bandwidth you'll have to look at other options.

My favorite is WWW.webs.com it is a very simple design site and you can get hosting through them too.
I use Godaddy for the two websites I have right now. I like it personally.
