I've said this before - but this is just a reminder. I'll be breaking BOTL over time in order to get it into a far better place. Just be patient if you can't reach us! We'll be back
The LFD chisels were meant to be punched to force the smoke to the roof of your mouth and tongue. Done by design and ingenious if you ask me, love them!
Before I got my Xikar cutter I would punch my ciagrs. one day I couldn't find my punch tool so I took one of my sons pensils and removed the eraser using the end of the pensil as my punch. Worked just fine.:cbig:
I was driving home one day and someone gave me a cigar to try. The issue was I did not have my cutter, so i ended up using a pen and made a little punch hole and it worked out fine.

Last year, while I was in Vegas, a guy my wife's step-mom works with (pretty convoluted huh :scratchhe) passed along a cigar to me. It was a RyJ Reserva Real Maduro Perfecto. Nice gesture on the co-worker's part. One night I got some time to go out by the pool and light up. I did not bring a cutter with me so figured I'd just bite a chunk off the end and that'd do. Not as easy as I had thought. I ended up chewing through part of it and finally giving up on that, grabbed some scissors to finish the job. Smoked fine though .
I used a straightened out paper clip at the office one week-end when I ran off w/o a punch. Cuaba Divino; I had to run the clip the length of the stick. It worked, but it was not a pleasant smoke.
