Were you or are you a cigarette smoker ?

Smoked cigs since about 13-14. Quit 2.5 yrs ago. Went to nic mints for a year, then dip for about 8-10 months, then bought an e-cig....finally settling on cigars. I still use the e-cig when it's handy like at work or at someplace I can't light up a cigar.

I had my first cigarette when I was round 16. I didnt really pick the habit up until I could buy them at 18. Then I went to college and became a pack to a pack and a half a day guy. I smoked cigars and cigarettes. Then I kept that up til about a year and a half ago and completely just quit cigarettes. I started using e cigs and cant smoke a cigarette anymore. I smoked one at work while my battery was charging and after a few drags I tossed it. Cigars and Ecig for me now.

I smoked cigs for 25+ years I stopped smoking cigs in 2012. I have always loved smoking cigars for as long as I can remember

I have had maybe only a handful of cigarettes in my life, ironically however the first thing I ever smoked was a cigarette. I was 18 and the band bad company was playing at the "Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom" I was a big fan and was told by a friend that there may be a chance I could help set up for them. I showed up at 5:30am and the band was standing underneath the staircase leading up to the back of the building. I instantly recognized them but asked them if they "were here to help set up?" They said "Something like that" and offered me a cigarette....now when you're 18 and Bad Company offers you a cigarette, you take and smoke that cigarette with them!

I am but the more cigars I smoke the less I want cigarets.

I am. Quit like four times now. Longest was for nine months. Been smoking em since I was twelve.

Plan is to quit by the summer. I was at two packs a day last summer. I'm now down to a cigarette in the morning and maybe two in the evening. Vaping has really been helping me cut back. And an occasional chew when I game.


I just don't want to have my daughter see me smoking when she's old enough to realize what in doing and see it as okay.

I've only ever smoked cigars, I've not touched cigarettes. I am 24 now and I think my wife would kill me if I started smoking cigarettes. She doesn't mind the cigars though, so that's good for me.

I'm not a cigarette smoker. Can't say I've never had one, but never smoked them regularly. I dip though and need to quit..

I smoke 4 cigs and 2 stogies a day. Sometimes less cigs and more cigars.

Smoked cigs for 15 years, a year and a half ago started doing the e-cig thing worked like a charm. Now I can actually breathe and my cigars taste much better.

I used to be a pack a day smoker, hated it. About a month ago, I quit. I still smoke the same amount of cigars, and that's once or twice a week. Sometimes, if I'm feeling "rebellious" I'll smoke a third or two in one day.

I'm in my 50's and I have never been a cigarette smoker but tried a cigar as a teen and have smoked a cigar every once in while sense then. In the last 12 years, enjoying a cigar has become a regular pleasure.

Cigarettes from 15 to 29. Quit for my health and for my now-wife who said she wouldn't marry me of I was still addicted to cigarettes on the day we got married (threatened to leave me at the altar).

Wife then gave me a humidor for my 30th birthday/first fathersday... Cigars ever since (with an occasional cigarette when I'm craving nicotine, but don't have the time for a cigar-this happens once every couple of months).

Smoked cig for about 16 years. Quit and started dipping. Quit that and now love cigars.

I started smoking when I was REALLY young. My brother always smoked and my buddy parents smoked and back then we could go to the store with a note and buy butts. I smoked 2 packs a day. I quit cold turkey sometime in 1998. I was 18 at the time. Never looked back.
