  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

What a day!!!

Today was a good day to say the least...

I smoked 2 cigars by 2 pm; the wife, God lover her (and so do I) only called once and spit all 5 of my chores on today's to do list out in less than 15 seconds then she hung up; I smoked my first Fuente Anejo; and i found this unbelieveable smoke shop about 30 miles outside of Indy in this quaint little town. The place was unbelieveable! They had almost everything on my list of about 20. I ended up dropping a few pennies without the approval of the board, my wife. I really need to buy her a skirt so she'll quit wearing the proverbial pants.

Anyhow, my purchases included the following...
2 Opus X PerfecXion No 2
2 Padron 1926 No.9 (#1 cigar for 2007) Now i have 3, I'm excited about how well those will age. Not going to touch them for at least 3 years.
Fuente Anejo No 50, which i lit before i left the shop
3 Hoyo Excalibur Maduro Epicures (I've been looking for those for about 6 months, i got the last 3)
2 Tatuaje Havana VI Angeles
A few more Torano Signature Series Robustos and Toros. My first cigar today was the last toro i had in my humi
1 CAO American Monument, just cuz it looks neat.

I also won 2 bids on CBID for a couple five packs of some things i've never tried but come with high ratings by CA.

That's a good day for me. No. That's a ggrrrreat day for me.

I plan on posting reviews of the Torano and the Anejo tomorrow. As a teaser, i picked up some interesting flavors in the Torano that i'd never noticed before, something along the lines of chocolate and cherry. The anejo was pretty dang unbelieveable. I've i hadn't seen the cigar in my hand, i'd have sworn i was drinking a mocha.

Anyhow, a full review later.

If all of you alls had half as good a day as me, i'm happy for you. I think i might even try to score tonight, :grinFU: as long as she doesn't see that receipt.

By the way, that shop i found was very reasonably priced. Anejo #77, the shark, priced at $19.95. Padron 80th Anniversaries for 29.95. Ashton ESG 20 and 21 year salutes, 21.96. I haven't even seen the 21 yr salutes before and i've only had 1 of the 20 yrs. Opus X were 14.50 to 15.95. They had the no.4, no 5, belicoso and the super belicoso. Padron 40 yr for 29.95. I had some good conversation with the owner and he said he'd mail me anything. Anyone interested in splitting a box of any of that let me know and we can work something out. I know for me, some of that stuff is hard to find so i'm thrilled at having a direct line to it with good prices. The price i paid for anejos on cbid makes me sick.

Nice Day. Had one of those last week.

Shop sounds sweet, especially the prices. 80th around me, if you can find them, are $40.

Very Nice.
