Sitting in the cigar room and I started to wonder:

what are some of your favorite cigar boxes/packaging/presentation?

Something LE like the tat coffins?
Something over the top like some Gurkha stuff?(the cigars are one thing but he does produce some cool boxes)
Something classic, like an old school cuban box?
Something simple like the new CAO La Trav?
Etc...

Post some of your favs...pics too...

I'm not big on extravagant packaging. I like simple cedar boxes with the logo on them. Anything more is really not necessary and it certainly doesn't make the cigars taste better.

I don't think you can beat the appearance of the My Father and My Father Le Bijou 1922 boxes!

I really like the Oliva MB1 boxes. Opus are cool, and of course the Cohiba GR box is kinda neat.

I'll be the oddball... I like the Cuban cabinets... plain, simple, easy to store/age and allow for air flow and rotation without a hassle.

Looks wise, the dress box for Cohiba Maduro 5 is a rich looking box IMO.

Haven't seen these. Any pics?

My Father, oliva v, and the tat coffins are all very nice. And although the cigars aren't that great, Gurkha comes out with some over-the-top, unnecessary boxes. Lol.

I'm a big fan of the Torano Tribute box with its wood inlays. I used some box tops I collected for decor at a temp apartment in St. Louis:

I've added to the collection and changed things around since. It was very Oliva/RP heavy.

One of my favorite boxes is the new Tat Verocu Tubo box, which is currently on a shelf in my house as decor (empty of course). I love how simple the box is, especially because it is such a striking presence.

Gurkha and CAO have had some pretty interesting boxes too.

I like the work that DE does for it's Liga Privada boxes.

Simple and very functional afterwards. (I love the logo too)

I like the Black Jar, and the monster series coffins.
Anejo Boxes are nice...

I do prefer simple packaging (cheaper in the end)
A plain cedar box with the cigar name on it is fine (tatuaje Miami (brown)) and Reds fall under that category.

I say screw the box, I want incredible cigars. lol..

But, probably the Monster Series Coffins, Red and Black Tubos are my favorites. I have one of each on display in my office and everyone says wow.
