BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

ZZ Top - Tres Hombres
Saw them for the first time in January 1973 when “That Lil’ Ol’ Band from Texas” opened up for The Rolling Stones. Although they only had released two albums, they played some songs from “Tres”. I couldn’t say that they blew the Stones off the stage but we were mightily impressed.

I remember when this album hit the store I was working in. Immediately slit one open, turned up the volume and put it on. Midway through “Motherless Children”, the store manager came into our department and told me to turn it down. Begrudgingly did what he said (sigh). Guess he didn’t realize it was Clapton’s first studio album in 4 years.
