I’mma liking what I hear.
Waiting for the oxtail stew (...got a late start...)...won’t be eating dinner till about 7:30 so got time to have a smoke and a beer

Santana McLaughlin - Love Devotion Surrender
Saw them on their one and only tour in ‘73. Honolulu was their last stop...what a show!

ZZ Top - Tres Hombres
Saw them for the first time in January 1973 when “That Lil’ Ol’ Band from Texas” opened up for The Rolling Stones. Although they only had released two albums, they played some songs from “Tres”. I couldn’t say that they blew the Stones off the stage but we were mightily impressed.

Eric Clapton - 461 Ocean Boulevard (Deluxe Edition)
I remember when this album hit the store I was working in. Immediately slit one open, turned up the volume and put it on. Midway through “Motherless Children”, the store manager came into our department and told me to turn it down. Begrudgingly did what he said (sigh). Guess he didn’t realize it was Clapton’s first studio album in 4 years. :banghead:
