BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Back in the day I had the cassette of the Otis and Jimi Monterey International Pop Festival performances and played it to death. Because of that, I was always partial to live Otis. Took me a few years to enjoy his studio stuff.

Pat Metheny Group - Letter from Home
Metheny has always been a jazz-fusion favorite of mine but I drifted away from the genre over the years. Although I would intermittently put on a Metheny disc, I never made it a point to regularly listen to him until a sudden rebirth a couple months ago. Been borrowing his stuff from the library and ripping to my computer. Hopefully I’ll be able to dig out my jazz CDs from storage and rip those albums too. Really nice to put him on while out in the garage with a cigar.
