CSNY - Five-Way Street

A bit torrent download from a few years ago. Sort of a comp disc. Mixture of unreleased demos, alternate cuts, and live performances from 1968 to 1989.

Queen - a disc of my favorites...although truth be told, I'm not a big fan of theirs but enjoyed "Bohemian Rhapsody" so put together a CD.

Full Moon - a great, although somewhat obscure jazz fusion album featuring Buzzy Feiten and Neil Larsen.

A dark and stormy 28-ish hours without electricity. Bored spitless so brought the boombox into the house and loaded it with 6 D batteries. At least something more than the sound of the wind and rain hitting our windows.

O’Jays - Family Reunion - the title track and “I Love Music” are my favorites.

Michael Murphey - Blue Sky - Night Thunder

Back in June 1975, after I picked up, unboxed and connected everything together, this was the first album I played through my new system: Pioneer SA-8100 integrated amp and JBL L65 Jubals. Bought them from the Stereo Warehouse in San Luis Obispo. Also had a Dual 701 turntable with a Shure V15 Type III and a Teac 450S cassette deck to make tapes for my car. Anyway, the album just kinda, sorta was laying around but as I set the needle down, realized the piano intro was perfect to test both the turntable as well as the speakers. So I guess like the first girl you kissed, this has always had a place in my heart.

And now for some rock 'n' roll:

No Nukes: The MUSE Concerts for a Non-Nuclear Future

Back when we (collectively) thought we could truly change the world. Forgot that I had the 2-CD set. Used to listen to the albums back in the Records Hawaii days.
