Literally found this beer in the back of the fridge a year old at least. At first I wasnt too fond of the skinny Por Larranaga Montecarlos but they have grown on me a bit. A good cheap quick smoke.

I was fortunate enough to try this one a couple days ago. The most pronounced salty steak flavors at first light that mellowed into black pepper, baking spice, charred cedar, and a hint of floral notes. Just a bit of nicotine strength at the halfway point, but not overwhelming. Another 3-5 years and these will be truly perfect.

Not a bad smoke at all. A little more on the medium side than I normally enjoy.
