Is that flex duct with a fan pulling outdoors?

It's a 1200 cfm exhaust motor. Attached to 40 feet of 10X12" trunk. Attached to 4 inch round flex duct at the ceiling. I use the 4" round when only smoking by myself.

That is awesome. I have an inline fan but it sounds like a hurricane. The wheels in my head have begun to turn..
