  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

What cigar should we smoke......

when my youngest son turns 21 in a week? The 21 year Balvenie Single Malt Scotch has already been selected for the drink, all I need to do now is pick the cigar. Any suggestions?

Feel free to pick any current production cigar. If it's an NC I can probably buy it. If it's a CC I may have it in stock from the lottery. I'm looking for any interesting suggestions that may match the event. Thanks!

Smoke something special.

Either a Custom Rolled or an aged Cuban.

If its NC go for an Anejo or a God Of Fire....

Thanks for the replies so far guys. I think I may have been a little confusing in my post. I'm not looking to buy or be gifted any cigars. I'm just picking the brains of my brothers here looking for suggestions on what to smoke. Hopefully something will match what I have on hand. Thanks and sorry for any confusion.

I don't think there was any confusion as to your post from any of us......you should know by now how devious:devilhead some of these guys are!
So , again.....hypothetically......is there a readily available smoke you think would fit the bill.....just curious!

Has your son smoked before and would he appreciate anything really special? May'be just a good aged cuban, '98-'01 :dunno:

If your son is an occasional or inexperienced smoker, the Choix Supreme is an excellent choice.
That's one of my favorites and I have plenty on hand.

BTW my son is not an experienced cigar smoker. I need to break him in right!!!

let your son pick it. show him the humi and tell him to pick out 2 (explain what he is seeing as he looks. don't want him picking a Piedra)

I kinda like the idea of both you picking something special together and smoking somewhere special, just the two of you. If your chosing, something like an aged Monte #4, RyJ Exb. #4, Diplomatico #2 come to mind. Congrats to the proud Papa on the youngest son turning 21.

The Choix Supreme is an excellent suggestion if he is indeed inexperienced as you stated.

The Monte 2 is always a classic and not too headstrong for a novice.

Picking something together is a great idea. Just make sure to steer him in the right direction so he's not getting knocked on his ass!
