I am not a fan of crowds and so I do not attend concerts.

My wife when she was married to her cro-magnon,knuckle dragging, forehead like a drive in movie theatre screen ex-husband, she went to the Van Halen 1984 concert.

That is one I wished I would of seen.

What would you like to go back in time and see??

For me, it would be the final Pink Floyd concert which was performed during the Millennium New Year at the Great Pyramids in Giza.

I wish I had seen Led Zepplin live. I had tickets to see them in 1980 ... but the tour was cancelled due to the death of John Bonham.

I saw them in 1978 (I still have the ticket stub). Second concert I'd ever been to. First was Nugent in '77. I think my ears are still ringing from that one.

There are just soooooo many that I'd like to have seen in their day. Here is the short list (no particular order):

Beatles on the roof of Abbey Road
The Who at Leads
Jimi Hendrix/Otis Redding: Live at Monterey
Creams farewell concert
Blind Faith - UCLA - 1969
Ella Fitzgerald in Berlin - 1960
Live Stiffs @ Leicester University - 1977
The Clash NYC 1979
Elvis - 1969 Comeback concert
Bob Dylan - 1966 Royal Albert Hall Concert (not really at the RAH)
Velvet Underground Paris 1993
The Doors - Whiskey-A-Go-Go 1966

Then I guess there are the obvious:
Woodstock
Altamont
Live Aid

Oh well that is all I can think of at the present moment

I believe that Rod Stewart holds that record. His December 31st, 1994 concert at Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro had an estimated 3.5 million people in attendance.

I'd still rather have seen the Watkins Glen show!!

I would have loved to see some of the old-timers in their Vegas shows. I have a Sinatra Live at the Sands CD and it just sounds like he could really put on a show (and not just sing). I have heard a few other live in Vegas shows on CD and they sound like so much more than today's concerts.
