Was thinking if it's not already somewhere buried we should start a thread about concerts we've attended and/or enjoyed to add to the first/last/wished-for concert threads...

It looks like I'm not the only one who likes to reminisce about my concert-going past.

I got turned on to Phish late in their career would have loved to see one of their shows. Same with the Dead HAd tickets to see them the summer Jerry died so missed out there.
Still time for Phish.
I’ve seen them 57 times since ‘03 and scored tickets to 3-nights in AC this August.
They still put on a badass show.
Never a bad time!

(I just realized the comment I replied to was from ‘08. Haha, oops!)

I saw BB King in 1990 in Santa Rosa, Ca at a very small venue called the Luther Burbank Center. I was 15 years old. He and his band put on an amazing show!

Thought of more shows I was meant to go to but missed:

My first concert was supposed to be Trixter/Slaughter/Poison but I beat up my friend (he deserved it) and his mom never let me hang out with him again.

Some 13 years ago or so I had tickets to Faster Pussycat/L.A. Guns/BulletBoys/Bang Tango and also to Himsa's supposed last show ever.

I had to move back to MA earlier than planned though to appease my pregnant girlfriend.

Most recently and most tragically in 2016 me and my buddy had tickets for Marylin Manson and Slipknot, but Corey Taylor borked his neck somehow and the show was called off.

Being that Slipknot is one of my top ten groups, this was so traumatic to me I blacked it out, even after finding the unused ticket until my friend reminded me what happened.

I missed B.B King's last concert in my area. Two tickets in the balcony were almost $250. I just didn't have the money at the time. So, I decided to start saving up to see him the next year. He didn't come back through before he passed.
