I imagine the answer has everything to do with how much a a premium you place on your storage (i.e. if you live somewhere where temperature is never an issue and you can coolidor/tupperdore everything, then why ever bother downsizing). But this is something @CigarJedi and I were discussing over the weekend...
When you have a full box you've been smoking (ahem, bombing) from, and then you have half a box... and then one row of sticks... and then four left... at what point do you cut your losses, toss the box (or whatever you tend to do with them) and move the sticks into a baggie or drawer, making more room in the humi?
I myself, living in SoCal, am at this point (or almost) with a box of Epi 2. There are some left, really not enough to justify keeping the whole box in the 28-ct wineador. I have no other reliable storage (hot summers, yo), so until I get rid of some mostly-empty boxes, there's not much room for more. A pity, since I'd like to start aging some CCs. What's a BOTL to do.
What do YOU do?
