What is it about CAB's?

I've noticed folks here and other forums infer cigars from cabs are of better quality.
Any truth to this... do the factories pack the best of the lot in cabs? Or do they just age better in cedar vs dress boxes?

Same cigars, different packaging = slight difference. Cabs will give you round cigars vs slightly box pressed from dress boxes... could effect draw characteristics. Some people also prefer the aging in an all cedar cab vs the dress box. All things equal, I would choose a cab every time over dress box.

Sometimes I prefer the slightly square feel from a box but generally cabs are best!

Cabs should age slightly better than dress box; at least for those that are varnished. Anyways Cabs are just dead sexy to look at
