Three movies this week:
First- The Blindside for my wife and I
Second- Alice in Wonderland for the whole family
Third- Ninja Assassin just for me

I thought all three were really good, actually watched Alice in Wonderland twice.

Just watched an oldie - The McKenzie Break. An old Brian Keith movie about 28 German POWs trying to escape a British prison camp.

Watched "Inception" yesterday with my wife.

Damn good movie ... a real mind trip. Good effects, characters, and storyline.

Well worth $6 and something I'll definitely see again.

San Jose

I almost always go to the first show time on the weekend (around 11am) to get the bargain prices. Later in the day admission goes up to $10 - $11.

20 years ago I was paying $2.50 for the early show.

Hell, when I was a kid I can remember getting in for 25 cents (1960s).

Really want to see that. Maybe this weekend.

Last movie I watched was "Google Baby". It's a documentary on the "international baby industry". They focused on a company in Israel using egg donors in the US and surrogate mothers in India to make babies for infertile couples. Place an order, and come pick it up when it's ready. Fascinating and really disturbing.

It's running on HBO on Demand over here.
