What recommendations do you have for pairings?

Exploring some cigar and liquor pairings. I know there are no rules but what do you tend to select when looking for a good pairing.

I'm finding that I like Ryes with peppery cigars. I also really like Balvenie Caribbean Cask with a Florida Sun Grown.

Any suggestions?

I usually find parings on accident. But esspresso and montie two are unworldly. And balvenie 12 and laduna are not good together. I usually dont smoke and pair. I also drink english blend hot tea alot of times when i smoke that has seemed to be rather neutral and doesnt effect it much
