I like this idea, but the vendor I have used in the past, and trust, does not have singles on their website. That's why I asked others opinions. Why buy what someone else likes? I can't stand PSD4s, but others love them. Get a couple singles of each & see for yourself
Are you wanting a stick to smoke now? Or to put away? PSD 4's are "meh" fresh, but awesome with time. The BBF are better fresh and amazing with time, and I like monte 2's, just not as much as the other two JMHOI was debating my next purchase. Looking at some Monte 2s, BBFs, or PSD 4s? I have not had any of the 3. What are your opinions on them?
A little of both. I would like to be able to smoke a few fresh while putting some away. That way I can see how they change over time. Are you wanting a stick to smoke now? Or to put away? This, plus I second the comment above that PSD4s are not good fresh (for me, at least). You can't go wrong with any of them, you have to decide. The Monte is a classic cigar where you can have great ones, but also can suffer from consistency. Bolivars are a more full strength cigar and the Partagas has more spice that needs a lot more aging for my likes. If I had to choose only one cigar out of those, it would have to be the BBF.
That's not a bad strategy. Both those Partagas sticks have their partisans, and both require some age to shine. I don't think you can go wrong either way.Since the Montes and the Partagas both come in 10 count boxes I think I am going to get those 2. Or are the Partagas 8-9-8s better than the PSD4s?
