Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.
For me, anything that inhibits optimum ability to smell an aroma - be it a cold, strong winds swirling when outside, being in an enclosed room with cigarette smokers or even the membrane constriction that comes from smoking cigars too frequently - means that if I light up anyway, I've pretty much wasted the money paid for that particular stogie.... Having a cold is a big turn-off. ... Anybody here smoke with a cold?
I'm exactly with you. For me 75% is the hype and the experimentation. The other 25% is relaxation/vacation. The first time I smoked ANYTHING was on a vacation to Cancun 2 years ago. 1 real cohiba, 3 fakes (glass top box). Didn't smoke again until I went back in September. Smoked everyday (more of those fakes) 2 real ones bought at the hotel. I got sick on the 4th day! I also eat more and drink more when I am on vacation. Now that I am not on vacation my rate is like 2-3 per MONTH. When I go back this year it will be everyday and the real thing!! - The internet is a dangerous thing!...I find that I am really stimulated when on a site like this, I read about the cigar experiences of others. Just seeing someone smoke has little effect on increasing my desire to light up; and the smell of a roomful of tobacco smoke is actually a turn off to me. (I pretty much have to smoke where there is fresh flowing ventilation.) Time of day means little, although I do not enjoy smoking when it is very hot.
I am really curious about your thoughts on this subject. Thanks for participating.
