  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

  • I am thankful for all of my BOTL friends! Everyone please be safe and enjoy your time with family, friends who however you are choosing to spend the day!

What tobacco are you chewing?

I generally keep a bag of Taylor's pride, or sometimes beechnut, my hiking gear.. It's got a couple diff uses, besides the fact that I want/need that nic pick me up, but can't stop long enough for a smoke.. I'm not a big fan though.

Skoal and occasional copenhagen here back in the day but went cold turkey a few years ago.

Although, I caved in and picked up a tin when I went hunting. Saved my cigars for the ride home.

I dip skoal citrus packets. I'm the only fireman I know that can pick a tin up and use sparingly for a week. I won't use loose chew because I believe it promotes more cancer than my body can overcome. Ymmv

Does anybody else chew a cigar when they're doing something can't actively smoke while doing? Or while indoors? I remember my granddad doing this, and I've started doing this lately and enjoy it.
