The title is pretty self explanatory. What was the very first handgun that you ever owned? Do you still have it today?

BTW: My first Handgun purchased was a .22 Browning Buckmark. I've fired thousands of rounds through it. And it would never think of getting rid of it.

1911, Marine issue...was my great grandfather's, then my grandfather's (used in WWII).

It was stolen from me a few years back. :hanghead:

Dan Wesson Razorback in 10mm - the second greatest handgun cartridge ever developed. (45 ACP is still the front-runner.)

If I ever get a 10mm it's going to be a DW Razorback. They are a sexy looking 1911. My Browning Buckmark and my DW Pointman major are my 2 favorite handguns to shoot. I just wish I would have purchased a Razorback a few years ago. They seemed to have gone up quite a bit over the last couple of years.

I bought a former Mass. State Troopers s&w 4006 from Gander Mtn. when I worked there, that was my first official handgun, though my grandfather was always willing to buy me handguns, and hold them til i was 21 for me. Wish I would have never got rid of the smith.

Smith and Wesson .22 revolver in stainless when I was about 14. I used it to shoot snakes and big turtles while running trotlines. Still have it and take it with me at night on the river.
