  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

What would you do...

If it is what I think it is, smoke the dang thing.

The reviews are not great, but it would be a great story to share that you smoked, "such a cigar."

May be a HMR. They've foolishly made other cigars with identical size/tube/wax/band.

The one I recall that was pretty much identical to a HMR costed like $20.00 - $30.00.

Here's a dissenting voice. If you smoke this, you are also leaving the opportunity to trade for sticks that you want. My thought - think about what you could get for it then evaluate.

Another thought is about how big your current stash is right now. If you have most of what you want to smoke, the opportunity to try something like this might be more appealing. If you only have 50-100 sticks perhaps getting some more sticks would be worthwhile.

Good point. If the expectations were reasonable, I'd trade to get that cigar from the OP.

I'd probably smoke it, just to give it a shot. If you know that Gurkhas aren't your thing, then trade it. There are some serious Gurkha fans around (though not as much on this board), so I'm sure there's someone who'd love to have it.

Was wondering where people get these? At $750.00 a pop for a cigar most would describe as "not so great", I cannot imagine many of these floating around.

They are pretty easy to counterfeit and sell for huge profits. People on eBay and various sites try selling these for around $200.00 to $300.00.

Check out the cigar above. Same size, same band, same tube, same flavoring. Only thing difference is the wax cap which people easily change to the forest green color wax.

Ok, I'll be the A Hole...whats so special about this cigar..

Feel free to flame...:hanghead:
Its "the world's most expensive cigar". Apparently they infuse it with some several thousand dollar bottle of cognac. Bunch of bologna if you ask me. Just another gimmick. Gurkha just wanted to say they make "the world's most expensive cigar". Now if only they could make a good one...

:barf:

I'm gonna save it to smoke on new years eve. i'll post a review and let you all know what a $750.00 cigar tastes like!
Looking forward to it Eric. :)

Where did you get this cigar from?
