  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Spring strong sweet tall green grass grow...

Rattray's "Bagpiper's Dream" in a Missouri Meerschaum/Forever Stem combo. Wasn't sure what to make of this baccy at first. I had some tins sitting around for a while, but when it showed up on @rdomfoto's ToWL it gave me an excuse to crack one open. Was kind of put off at first by the tin note, very flowery/fragrant, and probably never would have bought it if I were smelling that in bulk jars at some B&M. But, ever since packing up that sample, I've found myself anxious to try it. Almost craving it! (maybe because it was so different?)
After opening and portioning off in to a jar, I think it had a bit of time to breath and the tin note now seems deeper. More complex. Less "in your face." Hard to describe I guess. Anyway, I was pleasantly surprised with this very unique (to me) tobacco.
Have you tried it yet, Rob?
