It was good, definitely different that cigars. I had the typical newb problems keeping the pipe lit, but other than that I enjoyed it. Hopefully the next bowl I can keep lit more consistently
In due time, you’ll get the hang of it. Sometimes it’s the baccy that’s too moist as well. I’ve noticed that with some of mine. I’ve been putting the pipe down for 30 mins or so maybe more if I need to step away for a bit, come back and smokes 1,000x better as it had some time to dry out. Even before you pack the pipe you notice the moisture, leave it out to sit for a few and go from there. There’s a thread here somewhere a few people put some baccy in their microwave for a few seconds to dry it out.
