Ever have one of "those" flavors that you couldn't pinpoint? I just fired up a Man O' War Toro and right from the go I was getting this flavor that I've never experienced before and it's killing me. Crazy, but the first thing that ran through my (sick and twisted) mind was bugspray! It was a good, but interesting flavor though. Anyway, just an observation.:smokingbo

the source could be from the wood, graphics or lacquer on the box. or just another natural ammonia/ferment type residue.

so bugspray wouldnt seem that big of a crazy twist.

I think it's the natural ammonia you are tasting because the tobacco is "sick" and still fermenting and way too young/green to smoke. Give these some down time in the humi and you should be fine.
