BoM March 2012
It's been hot as hell here in central Texas for the last few weeks, and it's put me to task to find a nice cool summer beverage to counter the heat.
Right now, a lychee (small, pulpy fruit native to southeast asia) cocktail is tops in my book, and I thought I'd share the recipe...
Add the following in a shaker over ice:
2oz Vodka
2oz Cranberry Juice
1oz Lychee Syrup
Shake vigorously to chill, toss it all in an old fashioned glass and garnish with a lychee fruit stuffed with a cherry. Refreshing, cool summer sippin'.
(I get canned lychees in syrup in my local grocery store in the asian foods section.)
Now to the point! What're you drinking to beat the heat?
